Shoe-in: Spring

Yes, I went shopping today (surprise, surprise) as I was on the hunt for a few pairs of shoes that would add to my already growing spring wardrobe. The temperature is rising quickly, and I want to be prepared! I’ll have to say goodbye to my boots soon, and when that time comes, I’ll be equipped with alternatives.

If you are looking for new shoes too, here are some ideas.

#1: Toms

Give these shoes a second look–the once plain flats are now being transformed. The new patterns, prints, textures and colors convinced me that I had to have a pair. Plus, they go to a good cause that I can’t resist. (No, I don’t own a pair yet, let me know what the Toms you own look like since I can’t make up my mind of which kind I want!)

These are a pair of Toms new re-vamped flats! I absolutely love the color combination.

#2: Plain Flats

My narrow feet cause me to run into some problems in this category. The Tory Burch flats are absolutely gorgeous and already fairly iconic. They go with everything too! Although they don’t fit me correctly, and are definitely going to be on the higher end of your price range, they may be a good investment! Check them out (and maybe even try them on!) the next time you are at a Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, or anywhere else that sells the brand. If you want to opt for something other than Tory Burch, I found some great pairs at DSW by the brands Tahari and Vera Wang Lavender, which fit even my difficult feet! Also, Steve Madden makes some very cute flats!

This pair is by Tory Burch.

#3: Light colored sperrys

I love sperrys, they look effortless and instantly add a nautical feel to your outfit. Even if you aren’t aiming for this type of a look, they still look good and are a nice neutral addition to any outfit. The pair I currently have are black and gray, so not very suitable for the upcoming months. I wanted to pick up a new pair to just throw on.

#4: Oxfords/More structured flats

I’ve been seeing this look everywhere, and at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. Now that I’ve warmed up to the idea of the style of these shoes, I like that they come in a variety of colors meaning that you can introduce some new hues into your outfits!

These are both DV by Dolce Vita.

#5: Espadrille-Style Flats

I love this style, and I think its super-wearable and beachy-chic on everyone!

This pair is by Aqua. Sperry also makes some cute pairs in this style too!

Oooooh, I’m definitely finleeg yellow! It’s one of my favorite colors. I’m also a little bit into wearing orange at the moment well, the idea of wearing orange. I don’t actually have anything yet. Hah! Can’t wait to see what kind of colour combinations you bust out during LFW! xx
