I know I haven’t posted in awhile (my IMATS post is taking longer than expected!) so I wanted to throw together a post with a few things I’ve picked up recently (warning: this post contains just shoes and pocketbooks. If you are as addicted as I am, don’t look…you may feel tempted to go shopping!).
Shoes: Steve Madden
All the new shoes Steve Madden has launched for the upcoming season I absolutely adored. Here are two pairs I purchased in preparation for the summer!
I love these! I can’t wait to wear them in the summer. These are the Tampaa Steve Madden Wedges in grey. They come in a ton of different colors, including some incorporating neons! They are a little expensive, but I got them at Lord and Taylor with 20% off. Definitely check them out!

These shoes are also Steve Madden, they are called the Kaboo sandal (the specific color I got is pewter). I think they’ll look great with a pair of white jeans on a summer night (really, they’ll look good with anything, but in anticipation for summer, I picture everything with white jeans!). They remind me a lot of my favorite DV by Dolce Vita Sandals from 2 years ago since the shoe is the exact same style. I think this shape is flattering on everyone and the small heel adds just enough to make short girls like me just a teensy bit taller, and give tall girls a little bit more height without feeling overbearing.
At first, I was skeptical about the whole Toms shoe trend that has been appearing recently. However, I bought a pair a few weeks ago in navy, and I’ve been wearing them non-stop! If you never want to compromise fashion for comfort, I would say these aren’t for you. However, as a teenager, I’m definitely not wearing high fashion shoes 24/7, and these are perfect for a day to day basis. After I realized how much I loved my navy Toms, I picked up these! I absolutely love the striped/solid balance, and the gray color will go with everything I own. You can find Toms at various shoe stores, including Nordstrom. This pair is called the Ash University Rope Sole, and is listed in Women’s Classics on the Toms website.

Purse: Rebecca Minkoff
This specific purse has gained a ton of popularity recently due to it’s wide range of colors, size, and it’s somewhat reasonable price for a designer handbag! I absolutely fell in love with this bag, and searched all over for it. I decided I wanted a black one because it would go with everything, and I could carry it through every single season. I was debating between gold and silver hardware, but after I looked all over for silver hardware and could not find it, I realized how much I actually liked the gold!
If you saw my tweets (I tweeted a ton about this bag, needless to say, I was very excited!) then you know that I got this bag at 20% off at Saks. If you have been eyeing it for awhile but couldn’t commit to the $195 hefty price tag, march over to Saks now! Their friends and family sales starts on Wednesday 4/25 (I believe!), where you can get almost everything at a discounted price. I thought Rebecca Minkoff would be excluded (with my luck, the brands I want to buy from are always excluded from various sales), but it isn’t! I was able to reserve the bag on presale today and I have to go back to pick it up Wednesday once the sale officially starts. If you are reading this when the sale is already over, you can also find this bag at Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.
