That headline is basically my life… call me a shopaholic/make-up obsessed hoarder, but somehow, Sephora is continually torturing me with tons of new makeup palettes with neutral shades that I didn’t even know existed. And for those who are not complete shopaholics, here are some great ways to spend those gift cards you got from this holiday season.
The first is the Naked3 from Urban Decay, which I ordered the day it was released on Sephora’s website (obsessed much? Don’t worry, I know I have a problem). I already have the original Naked and Naked2, so I didn’t really need Naked3, but these are the only eyeshadows I ever use. Urban Decay has mastered the formula so that their eyeshadows are creamy and long lasting. It’s not just me who loves these – the feedback from everyone just shows how well Urban Decay can curate makeup palettes.
The next is the Chocolate Bar Eye Palette by Too Faced. I’m a sucker for Chocolate – even if it’s not really chocolate. This eye shadow palette is great, although I definitely do not need it (especially at the $49 price tag). Again, another palette with a perfect mix of those netural browns and taupes that I just can’t resist.
The third palette is Smashbox’s Full Exposure Palette, with 14 shades that again encompass the perfect neutral look. The shades are a fairly good balance of light and dark, but I find that this palette would probably suit someone who does darker smokier looks than someone who wears a lighter eyeshadow style.
Fourth (the one that just completely gets me, solely because it is Marc Jacobs): the Lolita palette. Honestly, who let Marc Jacobs create a makeup line? I mean that in the best way possible because I am simply just obsessed with everything Marc Jacobs and eventually I will be suckered into buying something (that I definitely do not need) from the line. I tried to win this palette on Twitter a few months ago and failed, so I’m just going to have to wait until I can force myself into buying this (Marc Jacobs gets me everytime, okay?).
The last is Bobbi Brown’s Sequin Shimmer Brick for eyes. I love Bobbi Brown because the brand always creates makeup that is terrific quality and never fails to have long lasting power. But again, this is another product I absolutely do not and will not ever need yet I want it badly (story of my life).
P.S. These aren’t my pictures (and that’s probably a good thing, because if I owned all of these, then that might be a bit of a problem…)
