When I hopped onto social media this morning, I saw a post from Carrie doing a beauty link up created by Hunter and Victoria! I was thinking about doing a beauty post anyways (I haven’t done one in so long!), so this was the perfect excuse to whip out some of my favorite products and get to writing.
Q. What is your favorite beauty product?
A. Ah! So hard to choose just one. I really love the Benefit Boi-ing concealer – it’s light but does the job! I actually just finished up the one I had from last summer and had to go re-purchase a new one. Along with that, I use the Hello Flawless powder (another re-purchase) and the Rockateur blush to complete my face look. (…who has time to put on foundation? Not me!)
Q. What kind of look do you like to achieve with your makeup?
A. I like to put together a natural look that is still defined. I’m very pale, so I make sure that I’m not washed out, especially if someone were to go snap a photo of me.
Q. Which products do you use for your everyday look?
A. I have a routine that slightly changes every so often, but this is what I’m currently doing! I use the Boi-ing Concealer, Hello Flawless Powder, Rockateur Blush, Benefit Gimme Brow Gel, Benefit Eyeshadow in Leggy (discontinued I think), Lilly Pulitzer for Estee Lauder Eyeshadow, Chanel Eyeliner in Marine, Falsies Mascara, and a Chanel Lipstick in Instinct!
Q. What do you like about those products?
A. These products (for the most part) are tried and true favorites. They all compliment my skin tone and they last for such a long time! Plus, all of them combined creates a fairly quick routine so I can put on some makeup and run out the door if necessary!
Q. What’s your favorite makeup brand?
A. This is tough! I love Benefit (I use a ton of their products) but I’m also lately really into Chanel. I got my makeup done at the Chanel counter for both Prom and my Senior Picture, so I’ve purchased a few products that have made their way into my daily routine!
Q. Tell us why we should get your favorite product now?
A. I’ve tried so many different concealers/powders… my pale girls, you need this Benefit stuff in your life! They have great shades and their products blend really nicely into the skin. Plus, if you visit a Benefit store with the intent to buy these products, one of the employees might give you a makeover too (it’s happened to me before!).
