Goodbye Summer!

School has officially begun! It’s sad to say goodbye to summer – but exciting to begin my senior year of high school. So… what kind of fashion blogger would I be if I didn’t share with you guys what I wore on the first day? I know it’s kind of late now for others to take any inspiration from this, but I thought it might be fun for you all to take a peek into what my first day was like…

I woke up at 6AM and I got dressed, did my make-up, grabbed a granola bar (+iced coffee that my mom so graciously made for me!!), and headed out to my car and drove to school. From there, the day dragged on… the majority of the rooms at my school don’t have air conditioning, so it was 1000000 degrees. Everyone was cranky and tired already… add in sweaty and it’s not such a great combination!

Laura and I taking a quick photo in the hallway! It’s so awesome to have a fellow blogger at school. Thanks to Jill for being cooperative while we tried out a bunch of different poses!!

Tank: Uniqlo, Skirt: Madewell, Bandeau: Brandy Melville, Sandals: Sam Edelman, Necklaces (top to bottom): Local Boutique and House of Harlow

You may remember the skirt from when I was at the Smart Girls Conference! (I guess I’m an almost outfit repeater…)

I already got some homework (ugh) so I definitely underestimated how hard it was going to be to balance blogging/school. But I’m determined to stick to my schedule mentioned here!

Hope you liked this post! Sorry it was on the shorter side.

Xo, Jamie

I LOVE THAT SKIRT!!! I fell in love with it in your SGG Conference post and I am still in love! Oh my gosh and Laura’s top is amazing too! It sucks that y’all didn’t have AC on the first day. So excited to hear more about your senior year!
