Today’s post is a fun collaboration with Neidelyn from Get Up & Dress Up! I love Neidelyn’s blog – her fashion sense is absolutely amazing. Plus, she also writes fabulous lifestyle posts! I recently mentioned Neidelyn in my Blog Superlatives post; I cannot rave about her enough!
This collaboration been in the works for awhile, and I am so excited for you guys to see it! We decided to ask each other a few questions and then each show our take on styling a white t-shirt.
TFN: What is your Starbucks order? N: I always get this one drink when I go to Starbucks: Mocha Cookie Crumble. It’s so delicious and perfect for chocolate lovers. I actually did a blog post on how to make it at home!
TFN: Favorite song at the moment? N: My favorite song at the moment is probably ‘Shake It Off ‘ by Taylor Swift! She’s one of my favorite artists and I’m so used to her doing country music, so this pop single is refreshing & fun!
TFN: Favorite fashion magazine? N: I love Glamour. I feel the articles are much more interesting than any other magazines. Plus, it’s the perfect mix between fashion, beauty, & lifestyle!
TFN: Favorite designer? N: Oscar De La Renta. I love everything from him….can he design my prom dress?!
TFN: How did you come up with the name of your blog? N: I actually had a list of possible blog names on my phone before I even started blogging. I take a lot of my inspiration off Pinterest so that’s where I headed to look. I looked through a bunch of quotes and somehow ‘Get Up & Dress Up’ stuck to me and I love it.
TFN: What one piece of advice would you give to someone looking to start a blog? N: The biggest tips for someone wanting to start a blog: be yourself & be nice. When you let you personality really shine through, you WILL attract an audience. Also, be nice to other bloggers and just everyone in general! Blogging has a huge networking factor to it so be friendly and people will want to know more from you.
TFN: If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would it be? N: Ooh, just for one year would definitely be Paris. I want to live in New York permanently so living in Paris for a year would be so incredible. I’d get to practice my French, bien sur!
And here is my take on styling a white t-shirt for this cold/warm weather!
Blazer: Gap, T-Shirt: Old Navy, Necklace: J Crew, Bracelet: J Crew Earrings: Forever21, Skirt: Uniqlo, Heels: BCBG
Most of these items (except for the necklace and t-shirt) are things I have had for awhile so I’m not sure they are readily available for purchase – nevertheless, I hope this can serve as inspiration for fall outfits!
