Newcomer in NYC: Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale

I think I need to preface this post with this: I didn’t actually go to the Sample Sale, but my mom did! I had to put up the pictures she took because I was simply just in awe of the amount of merchandise that was for sale. Rebecca Minkoff is my favorite handbag designer at the moment – I absolutely love everything she makes. I was off in the city doing other things (post on that to come!), but my mom very graciously went and bought two very cute handbags for us to share.

IMG_9344 IMG_9346 IMG_9347I’m absolutely amazed at how much stock was left on the last day of the sale – how crazy! I was also impressed that everything was completely wrapped – my mom said all the bags were in great condition.

I have never been to a sample sale and will definitely find another one to go to soon! I hoard handbags like you’ve never seen, so I am sad I missed this one, but again, so thankful my mom was able to go.

I ended up getting these bags:

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetNavy Mini Crosby Crossbody & Green Mab Tote Mini

Incase you were curious about prices (I know I would be!), each bag was $100. Each bag is typically $195, and were originally priced at the sale as $125, but since it was the last day of the sale, the bags were reduced to $100. My mom said she can only guess as to how much they were reduced afterwards as the sale was drawing to a close.

Have you ever been to a sample sale? What did you buy?

xoxo, Jamie
