Senior Prom 2015

Happy Prom Season! I did a post last year, so how could I not this year… right?

I got my makeup done at the Chanel counter at Lord & Taylor! Obviously not every counter is the same, but I absolutely loved the way they did my makeup. Their products are fabulous and I definitely think they suit sensitive skin!

As for my hair – I googled romantic low bun hairstyles and found a few options to show to my hair stylist! I gave her the freedom to do what she wanted and I absolutely love what she put together. If you do happen to like it and want to re-create it for your own prom (!!!), just print out the picture above and I’m sure it could be assembled on you! I have short (ish) thick hair, and given that it could work on those conditions, I think it could work on anyone! Warning: requires many many many bobby pins.

And lastly, nails: Essie is my go-to brand. For awhile I was an OPI girl, but somewhere along the way I switched and I’m all about Essie! My favorite color ever is Bikini So Teeny and that was on my toes, as for my nails, I picked out a light grey hue. I currently forget the name, but as soon as I remember, I will insert it here.

My two proms are now over, and while they were definitely both fun, I’m glad to be done with this circuit.

Now onto the next – graduation is in 18 days!!

Tell me about your prom experiences!

xoxo, Jamie
