Pro College Packing List: Guest Post by Seashells & Sparkles

Rachel from Seashells & Sparkles is here today to discuss a topic I have been struggling with in my personal life lately: packing for college! I absolutely love Rachel’s blog (her voice is so refreshing and unique!) and I am so thrilled we were able to collaborate together.

A huge thanks to Rachel for putting together this pro packing list. If you want to see what my thoughts are on this whole process, head over to her blog!

College is a huge change from what you know and what you’ve known. Your friendships will change and you will learn more about yourself in just the first nine months of your college career than you will have learned about yourself your entire life thus far.  Now, I’m not going to sit here to tell you all of the changes you’re going to go through and the things you are going to face. Instead, I’m going to share with one of my most prized possessions – my college packing list.

Over the years I’ve brought more crap with me to school than I even knew I owned and each year I tell myself I’m only going to bring the necessities next year. Well, here I am, going into my senior year and I finally got my packing list perfected. You’re probably going to realize my list is actually hella long, but every item on this list is going to be used at one point or another and you will be glad that you brought it in the first place. Side note: if you don’t use some of the things, then you will know exactly what to weed out for next year!

I told you it was a little long……. BUT, for your convenience, I created this google doc so the list is easily printable!

Good luck with your packing and be sure to contact either Jamie or I if you have any questions. Cheers to college!
