I’ve loved fashion ever since I was a little girl. Out of all things fashion, my favorite items were purses. According to both my mom and dad, I had (and still have) a pocketbook fettish. It’s different for all kids–some treasure their teddy bears or blankets, but as long as I had a pocketbook by my side, I felt at ease.
My love of purses developed into a love of style and all things fashion. I’m not ashamed to say I started shopping at a very young age which widened my eyes to a whole new world beyond purses. While I continue to fawn over pocketbooks, I have a new appreciation for other accessories and of course, clothing. I would hardly call myself a stylist, but I take dressing myself as a serious job: I’m constantly combining my own style with the recent trends or popular colors.
As I matured, I fell in love with beauty as well. I suppose the two go hand in hand, so that interest was bound to happen (plus, who can resist Sephora or MAC when your walking through the mall?). Since I grew up watching Project Runway, I always knew there was one final step before approaching the runway: makeup. Clothes and accessories can’t always hold their own, makeup (and hair styling) definitely push the envelope and create an overall feel and look to the outfit.
It was just a matter of time before I realized I could combine those interests with another hobby: writing. All three are what led me to creating this blog! I try to post as often as I can, about relevant information I think you guys will enjoy!

What grade are you in? I’m a freshman in college!
When did you start your blog? March 2012
What is your posting schedule? It used to be Monday, Wednesday, Friday, but now that I’m in college it’s become pretty irregular. I promise though – I won’t ever fall off the map for too long a time at once! And if I do, tweet me and get me back on track!
Are you open to collaborations? Can I guest post on your blog? Yes to both! I’ve done collaborations in the past and would love to do more. Just send me an e-mail at: email@example.com
Where are you located? Currently I attend school in upstate New York, but generally CT/NYC. If there is an event in the NYC area, I can still be there, so feel free to send an invite my way!
I want to start a blog. What advice do you have? Be yourself. Produce content that is coming from your true voice – it’s okay if you do a post that other bloggers have done if you put your own spin on it! There is so much content on the web that you have to remember that people will only return to your blog for your opinion – so make it the truth! I have a series called Blogging 101 that you should check out for all my tips and tricks on blogging.
Do your friends know you have a blog? Read this, which was written while I was in high school. In college, I just mention it as a part of my activities and hobbies – everyone has been so accepting and appreciates variations in hobbies!
